Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to expand ground operations in Lebanon and strengthen positions in areas previously controlled by Hezbollah.
According to TASS, Netanyahu stated: "We have broken the barrier of fear. We are operating on all fronts - in Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon." He emphasized creating security zones beyond Israel's borders to protect settlements.
Netanyahu noted that over the past month, Israeli forces have neutralized 700 Hezbollah members in Lebanon. Since the "Roar of the Lion" operation began in February 2026, the total has reached 3,000.
