Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed US President Donald Trump that Tel Aviv has no intention of withdrawing its troops from Lebanon and does not consider itself bound by the "Lebanon clause" in the agreement between Washington and Tehran.

It was stated that Netanyahu clearly expressed that the Israel Defense Forces will not leave their current positions in Lebanon. He also emphasized that the fight against the threat posed by Hezbollah will continue, including responding to any attacks on Israel and destroying terrorist infrastructure.
