Washington prosecutor Jeanine Pirro has released new video footage of the attack at a press dinner attended by US President Donald Trump.

According to Oxu.Az, the video, shared on social media platform X, shows suspect Cole Allen firing at a Secret Service agent. The agent survived thanks to a bulletproof vest.

The nearly six-minute video includes footage from the day before the incident, where Allen is seen casing the hotel's fitness center. It also shows guards removing one of two metal detectors while the hall entrance was closed.

Throughout the video, Allen is seen bypassing a security door, drawing his weapon, and aiming at guards. Police return fire, with multiple gunshots heard.
