Mercedes concern will create a new combat Gelandewagen to neutralize drones.
According to Oxu.Az citing Deutsche Welle, the German automaker intends to sign an agreement with the startup Tytan Technologies.
This company produces Tytan drones. These drones, with a flight range of up to 40 km, are already used by the Ukrainian and German armies.
It is noted that the German army already uses Gelandewagen vehicles for military purposes.
In the future, it is planned to use entire groups of combat Gelandewagens equipped with drones. Their activities will be coordinated by a mini-headquarters located in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus.
