A woman posing as a nurse abducted a 7-day-old baby from a hospital in Germany.
The incident occurred in Lüdenscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The woman entered the ward and took the baby under the pretext of examination. The mother trusted her because of the nurse uniform.
About an hour later, the baby was found naked on the stairs of a nearby multi-story parking lot. The infant was rushed back to the hospital and is in satisfactory condition.
Police are conducting a large-scale search. The suspect is described as 25-30 years old, blonde, very thin, and about 170 cm tall.
