On the night of May 1, air defense systems were heard in Tehran, Iran's capital. The news was reported by Reuters.
According to a statement published on the Telegram channel of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), military forces destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including spy drones.
The IRGC statement did not specify which country the downed drones belonged to or provide any details regarding the future of the US-Iran ceasefire.
"Air defense system sounds have been heard in several parts of the capital, including the western, central, and southeastern areas of Tehran," the IRGC statement emphasized.
