North Korea has tested a new multi-purpose light missile launch system and tactical cruise missile strike system utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Reported by Oxu.Az, citing the country's Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA).

The new tactical cruise missile is equipped with AI-based terminal guidance combined with high-precision autonomous navigation and topographical adaptation systems.

The missile can deliver high-precision strikes against targets at ranges up to 100 kilometers using a combined glide and powered flight scheme.

Leader Kim Jong Un observed the tests and praised the military significance of the new weapons, stating that the upgraded fire control systems and launcher automation are adapted to modern combat conditions.

According to KCNA, the new weapons are planned to be deployed to artillery units in the southern part of the country.
