The number of millionaires worldwide increased in 2025.
According to Oxu.Az, Reuters reported citing a Swiss UBS bank report that millionaires have grown like never before.
The study shows that total global private wealth grew 10.8% last year, compared to 4.6% in 2024 and 4.2% in 2023. This growth was driven by strong financial markets.
In the US alone, the number of millionaires increased by 440,000. In Europe, the number of dollar millionaires grew disproportionately, mainly due to the dollar's depreciation against the euro. While average wealth levels rose globally, inequality deepened. Median wealth levels fell in most countries.
UBS analyzed 56 markets representing over 92% of global wealth.
