Oil prices have risen for the third consecutive day amid renewed tensions in the Middle East.
According to Interfax, as reported by Oxu.Az, Brent crude futures for August delivery rose by $1.05 (1.09%) to $97.05 per barrel on the ICE London exchange at 09:20 Baku time. In the previous session, Brent crude had increased by $1.02 (1.07%) to $96 per barrel.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), WTI crude futures for July delivery rose by $1.05 (1.12%) to $94.81 per barrel. In the previous session, WTI crude had surged by $1.60 (1.74%) to $93.76 per barrel.
