OPEC+ countries have agreed to increase oil production. Starting in August, an additional 188,000 barrels per day will be added.
The decision was made during an online meeting on July 5. It reverses some of the voluntary cuts announced in April 2023.
Countries will continue to monitor market conditions. The next meeting is scheduled for August 2.
