Pashinyan announces new nominee: Rubenyan for speaker

Ruben Rubinyan has been selected as the candidate for the post of Speaker of the Armenian Parliament.

According to Oxu.Az, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this to journalists after a meeting of the governing board of the "Civil Contract" party.

Ruben Rubinyan currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the Parliament. He is also Armenia's special representative for negotiations with Turkey.

It is recalled that the current Speaker of the Armenian Parliament is Alen Simonyan.
