Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has filed a lawsuit against businessman Samvel Karapetyan. He is demanding 6 million drams (approximately $16,200) in compensation for defamatory statements.

Karapetyan allegedly claimed that Pashinyan imported nearly a ton of hallucinogenic mushrooms from China and used them before speeches. Pashinyan's office calls these claims slanderous.

The lawsuit requires Karapetyan to retract his statements on three YouTube channels with at least 200,000 subscribers each. If impossible, the retraction must be made on his party's official YouTube channel.
