Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the interstate agreement on the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project is in its final stage.

According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, Pashinyan stated at a briefing: “Two processes are running in parallel: site survey and repair of some infrastructure, as well as legal work to finalize the agreement. We want to sign it as soon as possible.”

On August 8, 2025, after a trilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Pashinyan signed a joint declaration. The project, named TRIPP, aims to establish transport links between Nakhchivan and other parts of Azerbaijan.
