The Pentagon has released a new set of previously classified documents on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) to the public.
According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by Reuters.
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth stated that documents, photos, and videos known as "unidentified anomalous phenomena" have sparked various speculations for years.
Among the 222 documents released, one is a 116-page report related to a secret facility in New Mexico between 1948 and 1950, documenting several UFO sightings and investigations.
The New York Post also published claims that the US discovered four different "extraterrestrial life forms" after crashed UFOs, but these claims have not been officially confirmed.
The Pentagon had previously released some similar documents as part of its transparency policy.
