Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has hardened his stance against the US. He emphasized that Tehran will not bow to any power.

Pezeshkian stated: "We will not sacrifice our state's dignity for comfort. We conduct negotiations with honor and do not plan to retreat."

Recall that on February 28, Israel launched a preventive strike on Iran. The US also joined the military operation. Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles at Israel.

On March 1, it was announced that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed. Iran struck US bases in neighboring countries.

On April 8, Trump declared a two-week ceasefire. However, the meeting planned for April 22 did not take place.
