In Austria, a light aircraft collided with a female paraglider in mid-air. She miraculously survived and landed safely.
According to Oxu.Az, the details were published by "Kronen Zeitung".
The 44-year-old athlete took off from Schmittenhöe peak and was flying over the Pinzgau valley. At that moment, a Cessna plane piloted by a 28-year-old from Tyrol collided with her.
The plane's propeller almost completely shredded the paraglider's canopy.
With great difficulty, the woman opened her reserve parachute and escaped death. She sustained only minor injuries.
The plane successfully landed at Zell am See airport.
The incident was recorded by a camera attached to the paraglider's chest. Rescuers called it incredible luck.
