Armenia's Investigative Committee has identified one of the individuals who planned an assassination attempt on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
According to Oxu.Az, citing Armenian media, a person named M.M. was part of a group of at least four people. He acquired necessary clothing and masks and gathered information about Pashinyan's whereabouts and his pre-election campaign routes.
The group members also gained illegal access to video material on an internet platform. The video was later published. According to the investigation, this prevented a pre-election campaign meeting.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against M.M. under several articles of the Criminal Code. A decision has been made to detain him.
