The heir to the British throne, Prince William of Wales, has confessed that his father, King Charles III, hates football, despite England being considered the home of the sport.
According to Oxu.Az, he revealed this during a podcast with NFL player Travis Kelce.
The episode was released just hours before the athlete's wedding to singer Taylor Swift.
"Absolutely not. My father hates football," said Prince William when asked if he inherited his love of the sport from his father.
The main topic of conversation was the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be held in North America.
It is worth noting that the Prince of Wales is a loyal fan of Aston Villa, a club playing in the English Premier League. He is also known as a big admirer of England captain Harry Kane.
