Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law allowing the use of the Russian army to protect citizens who face arrest, criminal prosecution, or other pressures from foreign courts.

According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, the document authorizes the head of state to deploy units of the Russian Armed Forces to protect Russians from persecution by foreign and international courts operating without Russia's participation.
