Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia has only one request for Armenia.

Speaking at a meeting with heads of leading world news agencies, Putin said: "We ask for only one thing: to hold a referendum on joining the European Union (EU) as soon as possible."

He noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan himself recently emphasized the need for such a referendum. "We have only one request – do it as soon as possible," Putin stressed.
