The match ended with a 2-0 victory for the home side. Gonzalo García opened the scoring late in the first half. In the 80th minute, Jude Bellingham doubled the lead after a pass from Mbappé.

With this win, Real Madrid sits second with 80 points. Oviedo, with only 29 points, remains 20th and has been relegated from La Liga.
