Romanian President Klaus Iohannis has terminated the mandate of Prime Minister-designate Eugen Tomac and proposed Adrian Veştea as the new candidate for the position.
According to Oxu.Az, the announcement was published on the official website of the Presidential Administration.
President Iohannis stated that Adrian Veştea has successfully passed through all administrative levels, serving as a successful mayor, county council president, and minister. He described Veştea as a determined pro-Western politician.
Earlier, Eugen Tomac had initiated consultations with political parties to form a technocratic government, but the talks ended without concrete results.
