US Secretary of State Marco Rubio did not rule out progress in the coming days in the dialogue between the US and Iran.
According to Oxu.Az, Rubio spoke during a hearing in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
"We are currently negotiating," Rubio said, expressing regret that contacts are being mediated.
"There are prospects ahead. It could happen today, tomorrow, or next week," the US Secretary of State noted.
He said Iran has agreed for the first time to discuss some aspects of its nuclear program. However, Rubio emphasized that the negotiations do not guarantee a deal that will satisfy the Senate and the American people.
