The Russian army has taken control of two settlements in Ukraine's Sumy region.

According to Oxu.Az, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a statement on the matter.

It was reported that Russian forces captured the villages of Zapselye and Ryasnoye.

This marks a significant advance in the region in recent days.
