Oxu.Az reports, citing TASS, that these words were spoken by Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov.
The diplomat noted that given the ability to strike important civilian and military infrastructure facilities located on Russian territory, US nuclear weapons deployed in Europe are essentially strategic in nature.
"Therefore, we insist on their withdrawal from Europe, return to the US, and the dismantling of all infrastructure created for the deployment of these weapons on European territory," Belousov emphasized.
