Starting June 2, Armenia must suspend certification of live fish and fish products intended for export to Russia.
Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) announced that certification is suspended for all Armenian companies except two that have passed inspection.
Previously, Rosselkhoznadzor stated that Armenian products do not meet the phytosanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and Russia. Last week, Russia also temporarily restricted imports of fruits, vegetables, and flowers from Armenia.
