Russian Armed Forces struck the Kyiv region with an RS-26 "Rubezh" ("Oreshnik") medium-range ballistic missile on the night of May 24.
Yuri Ihnat, head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force, told RBC-Ukraine that the missile was launched from the Kapustin Yar training ground. It fell in the Bila Tserkva district.
On the night of May 24, Russia attacked Kyiv and the Kyiv region with ballistic missiles and drones. Missile debris fell in several districts of the capital, causing destruction, injuries, and fatalities. Casualties and damage were also reported in the Kyiv region.
