Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) will restrict imports of stone fruits and grapes from Armenia starting June 2.
The restrictions apply to cherries, sweet cherries, plums, peaches, and nectarines.
Rosselkhoznadzor stated that Armenia has repeatedly violated import rules and failed to meet the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Additionally, imports of fish products from Armenia will be suspended from June 2.
Last week, Russia temporarily restricted imports of fruits, vegetables, and flowers from Armenia.
