Russia's Rosselkhoznadzor has stated that Armenia's agricultural products no longer meet their requirements.

Reports indicate that shipments from Armenia fail to comply with the Eurasian Economic Union's phytosanitary standards.

The agency cited the 2019 dissolution of Armenia's Ministry of Agriculture, whose responsibilities were transferred to the Ministry of Economy, as a key factor.

Earlier, Russia had already restricted imports of fruits, vegetables, and flowers from Armenia.
