A Soviet-era Tu-22M3 supersonic bomber crashed near the city of Svirsk in Russia's Irkutsk region.
The crew members managed to eject and survived, according to initial reports. The aircraft came down on the bank of the Angara River.
The crash is believed to have been caused by engine failure. Onboard were the commander, co-pilot, navigator, and weapon systems officer.
