Sadettin Saran, the head of Fenerbahçe sports club, and his brother Alan Kenan Saran have been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison for facilitating illegal betting advertisements during match broadcasts.
Each was also fined 562,500 lira ($20,800). Two other defendants were acquitted.
