Serbia to reinstate military conscription

Serbia will reinstate compulsory military service starting in March 2027.

Oxu.Az reports, citing TASS, that President Aleksandar Vucic made the announcement.

The president stated that the Serbian army is becoming stronger and that conscription will further strengthen the country.

It was noted that the service period for conscripts will be 75 days.
