Residents of Primorye, Russia, are facing a shark invasion near their beaches.
According to the Shot Telegram channel, predators have taken over a popular beach area. At least two sharks were spotted in Triozyerye Bay, one of them dangerously close to a person on a paddleboard.
Locals say sharks have never been seen so close to the shore. While they avoid swimming at that beach, they are not closing the season yet.
Experts explain that rising water temperatures and an increase in tuna population are drawing sharks closer to the coast. The summer of 2026 has seen high shark activity in Primorye.
