A bear roaming the streets of Utsunomiya, Japan, for three days has forced the closure of 94 schools.

Local authorities made the decision after the predator was spotted multiple times, including near shopping centers.

Over 10 reports have been filed since Saturday. Hunters, police, and officials are searching for the bear.

Authorities are using special vehicles to alert residents, urging them to stay indoors. It's unclear if there is one bear or more.

Bear attacks are increasing in Japan. Last year, 13 people died. Experts say bears are waking hungry from hibernation and searching for food.
