Footage of cars crushed under the weight of snow in Russia's Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky region has been released.

Oxu.Az reports that the "Amur Mash" Telegram channel shared the information.

"The snow has finally melted in the capital of the peninsula. Now the city's streets and parking lots are full of damaged cars with broken windows and collapsed roofs. All this is the result of the abnormal snowfall observed in the region during the winter season," the statement noted.

The footage shared online shows that the vehicles in the parking lot have been seriously damaged; it is not yet known whether they will be repaired.
