The Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences has forecast a short "dead season" on the Sun.

According to Oxu.Az, the laboratory reported on its Telegram channel: "Energy on the visible side of the Sun is decreasing. Today is the last day when small events are still possible; from tomorrow, the 'dead season' will begin."

It is noted that this period will not last long, probably 2-3 days, after which active centers from the opposite side of the Sun will emerge. A large region mentioned earlier will appear on the left edge around Friday (May 22).

Regarding magnetic storms, there is a small chance today, but tomorrow everything will drop to zero.
