Pirates have seized an oil tanker in the Indian Ocean near the coast of Somalia.

According to "Radio Dalsan", the incident occurred off the northeastern coast of Somalia, near the Puntland region. The tanker was traveling from Berbera port to Mogadishu.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) confirmed the incident, stating that individuals boarded the vessel and took control. The tanker is owned by Pakistani businessmen.
