A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Molucca Sea off northern Indonesia.
Russia's Unified Geophysical Service reported the tremors at 06:31 AM Baku time.
The epicenter was located 138 km north of Ternate. The earthquake is described as 'quite strong'.
The US Geological Survey measured the quake at 6.2 magnitude with a depth of 120.9 km.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
This follows a 6.7 magnitude earthquake on June 16 that killed at least 3 people in Indonesia.
