A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck the Kingdom of Tonga, located in the southern Pacific Ocean.

According to the Australian government geology bureau, the epicenter was 200 km south of the capital, Nukualofa.

The quake's focus was at a depth of 10 km. No damage or casualties have been reported.

No tsunami warning has been issued.
