A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Russia's Kamchatka region near Bering Island. The tremor was recorded by the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The epicenter was located 483 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, near the village of Nikolskoye, at a depth of approximately 28 km.
No casualties or damage were reported, and no tsunami warning was issued.
