Three powerful flares have been recorded on the far side of the Sun.
Oxu.Az reports that this information was released by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics.
The flares were captured by the "Solar Orbiter" spacecraft. As a result, a group of sunspots was partially destroyed.
Scientists say the survival chances of the sunspot group are rapidly decreasing. If the spots disappear, there will be no new flare threats for Earth.
