Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has denied reports that technical consultations with the United States would begin this week in Doha.
The diplomat told journalists that no technical meetings of working groups are planned.
Consultations with Qatar and monitoring of the other party's fulfillment of its obligations continue as normal. However, reports that technical negotiations between working groups would take place in Doha are not confirmed.
Recall that Axios reporter Barak Ravid had claimed that US and Iranian representatives agreed to hold consultations in Doha on June 30 to discuss mutual cessation of strikes and resolving differences over the Strait of Hormuz.
