India has blocked the Telegram messenger until June 22 after a leak of medical entrance exam questions.
According to Reuters, citing the Ministry of Education, the decision was made due to the leakage of exam questions via the messenger.
The exam in question is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical universities. Initially scheduled for May, it was canceled after the leak on Telegram.
The government plans to hold the exam again on June 21, leading to the temporary restriction on Telegram.
