A passenger bus traveling from Izmir to Antalya, Turkey, caught fire after crashing into barriers, killing 8 people.

One of the most tragic stories involves Civan Sen and his family. Civan, his wife Sevda, and their 9-month-old son Eyup Mirac were returning from a holiday visit when the accident occurred.

Civan showed great sacrifice: he broke a window and helped his wife escape. However, due to crowding around the window, he and his baby could not get out and died in the flames.

Another heartbreaking story is that of Gule Tayboga and her daughter Fatma Kartall. After a long battle with cancer, they died together in the accident.
