According to Oxu.Az citing NY Post, the incident occurred on June 21 in Morrisville. The truck flipped over, and beekeepers worked to gather the massive swarm.
Local authorities called on all beekeepers to help mitigate the consequences. Meanwhile, Orange County rescue services advised residents to stay indoors.
The bees spread across the area, covering surfaces and building a huge nest in a tree. No injuries are officially reported, but a photographer was stung.
