Princess Phatchara Kittiyapha, the eldest child of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand, has died at age 47.

She passed away at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok. According to the royal palace, she had been in a coma due to a heart condition since December 2022.

The princess collapsed during a training session in Nakhon Ratchasima province and was diagnosed with heart failure.
