A tragedy occurred at a birthday party in Solnechnogorsk, Russia, where two teenagers died after taking mephedrone.
According to Oxu.Az, the emergency service reported to TASS: 'According to preliminary data, two people died from acute mephedrone poisoning, and six others were hospitalized.'
The press service of the Moscow Regional Prosecutor's Office stated that the two teenagers died before the ambulance arrived. 'The investigation of all details of the incident is under the control of the Solnechnogorsk City Prosecutor's Office,' the service said.
Law enforcement reported that the young people consumed alcohol at the party. Later, an unknown person offered them a white powder, which made them feel ill after consumption. During the scene examination, packages containing an unknown substance were seized and sent for laboratory analysis.
