US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that the leader of the 'Tren de Aragua' criminal group has been eliminated.

Trump stated that the operation was carried out by the US military in coordination with Venezuela. 'On my order, the Southern Command delivered a lightning strike, successfully neutralizing Nino Guerrero, the infamous leader of one of the world's most brutal terrorist organizations,' he wrote.

He also noted that the group had previously been designated as a terrorist organization by the US.
