US President Donald Trump has praised the meeting between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Reuters, Trump told journalists: "It is a good thing that China's Chairman Xi Jinping is meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin."

The White House chief admitted to watching Putin's welcome ceremony in China.

Recall that Trump visited Beijing from May 13-15. During the trip, he discussed trade, Taiwan, Iran, and the Ukraine conflict with Xi Jinping.
