Trump calls Bolton 'crazy': wants harsh sentence

U.S. President Donald Trump has called for a harsh sentence against former National Security Advisor John Bolton.

On his Truth Social account, Trump described Bolton as a "crazy" person who only wants discord and war, expressing hope that he will be treated severely.

Bolton pleaded guilty on June 26 to mishandling classified information. His sentencing is scheduled for October 28, and he faces up to five years in prison.
